SDG #15 LIFE ON LAND
- specifically target #5 discussing the loss of natural habitats
- target #7: protect species
- loss of natural habitats is detrimental to both local and global biodiversity and the ecosystem as a whole
- Create a sense of the severity of climate change (melting glaciers) by creating an immersive environment with changing colors
- Being able to see the direct impact climate change has had on the environment and how bad it can get if we don't do something about it, ASAP!
- immerse the viewer in a climate disaster so it feels closer to home and more meaningful
- immerse the viewer in a climate disaster so it feels closer to home and more meaningful
CHARATER
- The animals who live and are being affected by climate change
- Specific species(Penguins, Polar Bears, Arctic fox) living in Colder climates
Why?
- To create a sense of empathy towards the animals losing their homes to global warming by putting the user in the shoes of the animals
- Most of the animals rely on their specific climate as a means of survival so they are most affected by climate change
- The main purpose highlights their fight for survival and how global warming is impacting the rate at which environments are being affected
